The company is founded in 1970 to produce spray paints with the Colorpack brand, specialising in touch up spray paints for all vehicle colours.
Giancarlo Colzani, the current President of the company, acquires the 500 m2 facility and decides to change the corporate strategy by producing third-party sprays.
Demand increases and Colorpack expands the product lines and implements an innovative high-performance industrial tintometric system, tripling the covered area. Colorpack continues to consolidate its position in Europe.
The laboratory grows and a specialised team of chemists is set up to research and development, product quality control and improvement. The dedication, professionalism and far-sightedness of the company’s owner allows Colorpack to develop new unique products on the market while constantly monitoring the
quality of the incoming raw materials and finished product.
The second generation joins the company – after graduating from university, Glenda and Cristian injected new ideas and energy.
Colorpack develops the marketing department which allows it to expand its business areas and develop the first proprietary brand product within a few years. The result is CLASH, a brand stemming from Milan’s deep-rooted hip hop culture and still one of the most popular brands in the world of graffiti and urban art and now distributed worldwide.
The HQS brand is created targeting the professional and DIY market. HQS is distributed in Italy through a well-established network of agents and in 16 European countries thanks to exclusive agents with storage facilities.
Colorpack is distributed in Germany as the official supplier in the Modern Trade Food for Europe. A new high-performance production line is acquired producing 16 million spray cans per year.
The Wrapper brand is created that immediately establishes itself as a leader in the removable spray film market. The product is available in spray cans and tins, with a wide range of colours and takes top spot in the sector-based industry. The factory is expanded with the addition of a new warehouse.
A second logistics centre is opened in Marcon (Venice) for the production of marker pens and worldwide distribution of the Clash and Puro brands. The latter is a new water-based brand for the urban art and decoration market.
A new 5,000 square metre warehouse is purchased next to the facility as a production and logistics area. Colorpack now occupies an area of 16,000 square metres, 10,000 square metres of which are covered.
